About

I study whether nature markets deliver what they promise. On the demand side, I measure public support for forest conservation and carbon offsetting across Europe with discrete choice experiments. On the supply side, I price what a carbon credit actually delivers — net of leakage, storage duration, and reversal risk — with actuarial models and Monte Carlo simulation.

Two Countries, One Divide — fear of climate change splits public support for forest conservation the same way in Austria and France. More →

Classes or Continuum? — a pre-registrable rule for specifying latent class choice models, implemented in the R package klue. More →
